Project: Marketing & Communications Leadership

Date: October 2024 – January 2026

I served as the senior marketing and communications lead for the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York, overseeing a comprehensive, video-first marketing ecosystem that supported fundraising, education, awareness, and community engagement across a 14-county service area.

My work extended well beyond individual events, establishing consistent brand storytelling through original video, photography, media relations, and digital content. By centering caregiver, volunteer, and staff stories, I helped humanize the mission and strengthen emotional connection across platforms.

I led integrated campaign strategy for Walk events and year-round initiatives, managing messaging, promotional assets, audience experience, and post-event storytelling. This approach contributed to increased visibility and helped the organization exceed its Walk 2025 fundraising goal for the first time.

I expanded the organization’s media presence throughout Central and Upstate New York by cultivating relationships with television, radio, print, and digital outlets. I also trained staff on media best practices and ensured all public-facing materials aligned with brand standards.

Through sustained community engagement and partnership development, I strengthened relationships with volunteers, board members, staff, and local organizations—turning visibility into long-term support and collaboration opportunities.
